ARTIST BIO

Digital Gnosis is an electro-mystical multimedia duo, comprised of J and L, whose collaboration began sometime at the end of the previous b’ak’tun. After performances for their debut album 7 (2012), the sophomore release, Aten (2016), saw an extensive 14-track sonic journey traversing electronic music with several world instruments delicately in complement. A track-by-track remix album, A_Net (2017) was released featuring remixes from Nevada Hardware, Professor Kliq, Polyfuse, and many more.

Live shows are high-energy with synchronized, live-sequenced lights, visuals, and audio. It is not atypical to see ceremonial activities, decorated sets, or even cutting-edge technologies enabling dynamic audio-video responses and performance. Digital Gnosis has performed alongside Dirtwire (Dave Satori/Beats Antique), Liebknecht (Daniel Myer/Haujobb), I Ya Toyah, and more. Notable performances include headling the Thinkbreak Label event night Convergence 25 Festival (Boston, MA, 2019), serving as the first electronic musicians to perform in 72-hour Abbie Hoffman Festival XXV (2013), and live-scoring of the films of George Melies including 1902 film ‘The Trip To The Moon’ as part of the Comfort Station Inn summer film series in 2017. Digital Gnosis music is also featured in the FoxDigitalStudio film, ETXR (2014). Digital Gnosis curated an artist gallery for their first performance and presented their own gallery of art for their second album’s live debut.
